Q: What’s a HOLE-OUT SCRAMBLE?

A: A team event consisting of four players in which each player hits a tee shot, and the best tee shot is selected. This continues from the fairway until the ball is on the green. The fringe is not considered part of the green, and all four players must execute a shot from this location before a shot on the green can be selected. If a shot is holed from either the fairway or the fringe, the entire teams records that score. Once on the green, each player putts from within 6″ of the selected spot and must hole-out before the next player putts. Three of the best four scores are recorded on the scorecard for the team total.
