Q: What’s an ORANGE BALL SCRAMBLE?

A: A team event in which one of the four balls the team members are playing is orange. The player with the orange ball plays that ball and records his own score while the other three member of the team play a traditional scramble. The orange ball rotates among the team members, changing after each hole. At the completion of each hole, the orange ball score and the scramble score are added together to create one team score. Teams must complete all 18 holes with the orange ball and return it to the Committee. If the orange ball is lost, play continues using the same format, but the team is not eligible to win.
