Q: What’s a BEAT-THE-PRO SCRAMBLE?

A: A team event consisting of four players of varying handicaps. Each player hits his tee shot, and the best shot is then selected by the team and played into the hole from there. The ball must be dropped or placed within one club-length of the original ball while maintaining the original condition of play. On the putting green, the ball must be dropped or placed within six inches of the original ball, no closer to the hole. Each player must use a minimum of four tee shots.

Teams with three players will alternate hitting another shot on each hole so that four balls are in play. Each player must use a minimum of six tee shots.
