Golf Academy Finishes 2nd at NCCGA

The Golf Academy of America Phoenix Club Golf Team is back home after finishing 2nd in its first-ever trip to the National Collegiate Club Golf Association’s (NCCGA) Desert Regional at Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona.

Trailing the Arizona State University Club Team by ten strokes after Saturday’s opening round, the Academy failed to make up the ground it needed to take home first place. Here are the GAA individual scores for the two-day event:

The NCCGA is a place for those who don’t or didn’t play varsity golf in college but desire to continue competing.

The NCCGA program is run by NextGenGolf. More than 300 teams can be found at colleges and universities nationwide, with 1,500 club players active in the program in 27 different regions.
