Brooks Koepka says he won’t be doing any midround TV interviews anytime soon. I agree with Brooks! When you’re locked in on your round, who wants to take the time to answer questions about how you’re playing between shots? Add in the possibility of getting a slow playing warning because of the interview, and that’s a no-go
The PGA Tour has unveiled a new pace-of-play policy to keep tabs on its slowest players on a week-to-week basis based on ShotLink data. Warnings will be given if players exceed 60 seconds to play a shot, and a second bad time will result in a one-stroke penalty. It’s about time (no pun intended)!
