The Match Play is my favorite non-major Tour event. Great format change this year too. Now, the big names are guaranteed to stick around for at least three days instead of going home one and done!

Marc Leishman, winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, almost quit the game two years ago when his wife nearly died of toxic shock syndrome.

Great win for Adam Hadwin, but the guy to keep your eye on is the exciting former amateur from a few years ago, Patrick Cantlay.

Dustin Johnson’s win in Mexico was okay, I guess. But I wouldn’t call it great for the game of golf. He’s not a dynamic personality.

It wasn’t pretty, but Rickie Fowler’s win at the Honda Classic is his first in 13 months.
