The WGC Match Play is my favorite non-major on the PGA Tour. Too bad Tucson lost it. More match play please!

Justin Rose has now won a PGA Tour event six straight years. The longest streak belongs to Dustin Johnson who’s won an event eight years in-a-row.

Jim Furyk continues to be a cash cow on the PGA Tour. Win No. 17 comes exactly 100 starts since his last victory. I’d put him in the Hall of Fame if only for his remarkable consistency.

Troy Merritt shoots a 10-under 61 at Harbour Town. Jordan Spieth shoots 62! Raise your hand if you’ve ever heard of Troy Merritt.
