Jim “Bones” Mackay reported that Tiger Woods only eats snacks during his rounds at the WGC-Mexico Championship while walking downhill. Why? Because of the elevation, he’s breathing too hard to be able to eat while walking uphill.
When Phil Mickelson plays at Pebble Beach, he marks his golf ball with a silver dollar that belonged to his grandfather, one of the original caddies at the Links when it opened back in 1919. At every other tournament, Mickelson uses a replica of the coin.
